Sichuan Deyang Famous: Deyang Silk Hand-painted First Person

Chen Guisheng, his real name is Chen Guisheng, a native of Deyang. His mother named him after Guisheng. It was expected that he was born in August of the lunar calendar. The osmanthus blooming season was born in Deyang, Sichuan in 1958. He is currently a member of Sichuan Arts and Crafts Association, a member of Deyang Collectors Association, and an assistant arts and crafts artist. He loved calligraphy and painting since he was a child. He graduated from junior high school and learned art from his teacher at the age of 16. He learned painting from Lin Qingru, a native painter of Deyang, teacher Chen Yun (a national first-class artist and painter of Beijing People's Painting Academy). Now both teachers have passed away.

Deyang native painter Chen Yun and his father Chen Feiting, the two masters are Deyang painting tide fan predecessors. Moreover, Chen Yun is also a family of calligraphy and painting. His father Chen Feiting and uncle Chen Niangting settled in Nanchong before the Republic of China. His painting art is very famous in Nanchong. In 1933, he traveled to Europe and was a painting friend with Zhang Daqian, a master of traditional Chinese painting. "Nanchong" on the special introduction of Chen Niangting painting art.

In the early 1970 s, Chen Guisheng worked in Deyang Silk Knitting Factory. After going to work, I worked with teachers Chen Yun and Lin Qingru in the painting design room of Deyang Silk Knitting Factory. I once created silk hand-painted works and exported them to Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and the United States. The works include long scarf, square scarf, towel, silk painting, antique painting, etc., which generated foreign exchange for Deyang until the enterprise closed down. The teacher encouraged him not to give up this art, but to pass it on.

During this period, he respected Shi Yan and took the lead in setting up a personal "silk hand-painted studio" at home ". As the saying goes: wine is not afraid of deep alleys, and then some business circles in Shenzhen and Guangzhou specially invited him to engage in hand-painted art creation, but he refused one by one, because his roots are in Deyang. After 48 years of art, he never stopped writing. After retirement, he now lives in Deyang, specializing in painting learning, research and creation.

With the reform and opening up, all units engage in new product development and promote the economic development of enterprises. Chen Guisheng and his teacher Chen Yun began to make bold innovations in printing, flower weaving and plate making on the basis of traditional painting techniques, exploring how to paint without high temperature treatment and without losing color. Sometimes, the steamer drops a little water on the silk! After repeated tests, it was finally successfully developed. This technology is the first in China. Later, he applied this technique to some chemical fibers and silk cotton, which were drawn by hand on scarves, kerchiefs, hand towels, clothing and screens. The hand-painted works created by him and his teacher have been reported by CCTV and Sichuan TV.

In order to create a stone carving art tourism in Deyang, in 2016, the creation studio will be named after "Chen's silk hand-painted" for tourists to visit, observe and learn.

This year's silk hand-painted works have been booked as gifts by some merchants, making the value of their works continue to rise. Teacher Chen Guisheng said that as a hand-painted painter trained in Deyang, he should leave this rare intangible cultural heritage to future generations and contribute to the culture of Deyang.
